Though analysing 12 wheat varieties s characters and their responses to local environment, the following results were obtained: 1. Wheat variety(7243) was suitable to local ecology condition and level of land productivity. 2. In winter wheat and spring wheat mixture area, wheat had its aboard seeding perspects and should enlarge its seeding area. Wheat(7243) had been popularized and gained good benefits in Sourthern Ningxia hilly area.
